Wednesday I tried mimicking Sigyn’s vibe. Had this work thing where my buddy messed up big time on a client email. Boss was breathing fire, and I straight up told everyone it was my fault. Took the heat while my panicked friend fixed it. Felt exactly like holding that damn poison bowl – arms shaking, sweat dripping, but holding steady. Friend bought me beers after. Still cheaper than therapy.
Lightbulb Moment
Started seeing Sigyn’s moves everywhere:
- That neighbor who walks shelter dogs in thunderstorms
- Bartenders who cut you off before you embarrass yourself
- Hell, even my cat sits on my chest when I’m sick
Real protection isn't about swords and shields. It’s catching venom for someone knowing you’ll get burned.
Funny thing? When I tweeted about this yesterday, my aunt DM'd me. Turns out she named my cousin Sigyn back in ‘93 after surviving chemo. Said she wanted "a name that meant fighting beside someone". Almost cried in the checkout line at Walmart.
