Today I wanna share how I finally figured out the best time to ask Anne-Catherine Kleinklaus for advice. Wasted months getting this wrong.
The Absolute Disaster Start
First time I emailed her was straight up terrible. Sent this loooong question at 3 AM on a Tuesday. Figured she might be an early bird. Nope. Total radio silence for weeks. Felt like shouting into a black hole.
Got desperate. Sent follow-ups every other day. Annoying stuff like “Just bumping this up!” and “Checking if you saw this?”. Looked back later – cringe city. Basically acted like that buzzing fly you can’t swat.

Observing Patterns Like Some Weird Detective
Gave up on blasting her inbox. Instead, stalked her public stuff. Not creepy! Just watched when she posted replies online.
- Monday mornings? Dead zone. Her feed looked like tumbleweeds blowing through.
- Wednesday afternoons? Boom. Started seeing actual responses pop up around 1-3 PM Central European Time.
- Friday? Forget it. Pure ghost town vibes.
Also noticed she’d vanish for weeks sometimes. Later found out – that’s when she’s running her big workshops. Closed doors, zero emails.
My Big "Duh" Experiment
Took a deep breath. Waited for a Wednesday. 1:30 PM my clock (matched hers). Sent ONE clear, short question. Not an essay. Just the core pain point.
Went to grab coffee. Almost choked when my phone dinged 45 minutes later. Actual reply! She gave me gold too – straight into the problem.
Tried same time next week. Reply landed in under an hour. Felt like unlocking cheat codes.

What Actually Works Now
- When: Aim for her window – Wednesday afternoons CET. Thursdays sometimes work.
- How: Short. Like "Twitter short." Bullet points even.
- Not When: Mondays. Fridays. Workshop seasons (usually late Sept/Oct + March).
Turns out it's never about how smart your question is. It's about hitting the moment she's elbow-deep in advisor mode. Like catching a wave – miss the timing, you just eat water.
